Mission Christian Church supports the following missions: Sand Springs Community Services, Deaf Missions, Cookson Hills Christian Home and School, Ozark Bible College, Sunset Bible Camp and Good News Production.
The women have a daytime Bible Study on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. They invite all women to come for fellowship and study.
The men of the congregation along with guests, have a breakfast the first Saturday of each month at 8:00 a.m. They meet, eat breakfast together and have a devotion time.
Women are invited to attend the Hearts and Hands for Christ meeting held each month on the second Sunday at 4 p.m. Various projects are undertaken to support groups and events in the local area. Hearts and Hands provides a lunch for any funeral held at the church. Hearts and Hands provides a Bible for each person who is baptized. The group has a business meeting (short) and a devotion during the monthly meetings.
Our youth are active in study and also have several fundraising projects to help them attend various youth events in the area. They have served breakfast before a garage sale and organized the garage sale. They also help with other projects around the church building including some needed painting. Jana Shipman oversees the youth program.
